“In this day in age compliance is the only accessible drug; we are only sober in resistance.” These words were spoken by a young man named Sean, who was a past graduate of Northwestern College.

Friday night, Feb. 5, the club Northwestern Eagles played their first hockey game in two years. With Fogerty Arena in Blaine serving as the venue, a surprisingly large crowd watched as the Eagles battle the Macalester Scots, who handed Northwestern a 15-3 loss.

Mark Budlong has been attending Northwestern for two-and-a-half-years. Never in his time at the college, though, has Northwestern offered to pay for his textbooks.

Northwestern hosted its annual Hoops Hysteria celebration on Saturday, Jan. 23. The day started out with a women’s basketball game at 3 p.m., followed by free pizza and a men’s basketball game that tipped off at 5 p.m.
